TAPPI adds Lean Manufacturing Seminar to SuperCorrExpo® Experience

Norcross, Georgia – TAPPI announces the addition of a two day Lean Manufacturing Seminar to the SuperCorrExpo 2008 experience. Slated for September 20th and 21st the TAPPI Lean Manufacturing: Machine Calibration and Tooling Course will immediately precede the opening of SuperCorrExpo 2008 (Sept. 22-26) and the TAPPI Corrugated Packaging Conference (Sept. 22-24).

Registration for this intense two day session will be $1295.00. If participants are already a paid registrant of the TAPPI Corrugated Packaging Conference, the additional cost for the Lean Manufacturing Workshop will be only $500. Conference registration fees will be available at www.supercorrexpo.org in mid-April. All participants will receive free admission to SuperCorrExpo.

Industry veteran Dick Target of "On Target Consultants" will present this intense, interactive, information packed two day continuing education course. The session's focus will be on improving and streamlining your manufacturing process by eliminating guesswork and concentrating on methods and techniques proven to enhance the efficiency of diecutter and flexo folder-gluer calibration, set-up and operation. Dick will cover Zeroing the gear train, the "Time & Register" process, centerlining and ink management. The course will also include outlining and implementing a successful 5-S program, identifying tools for effective waste reduction, one box set-up and much more.
